A Greeting from the Future｜Art Macao 2025 Opens

"Hi, what brings you here?" - A casual phrase, now the title of an international biennale.

On July 18, ,Art Macao 2025 opened at the Macao Cultural Centre, this seemingly light question became a portal—inviting us to reflect on identity, space, and belonging.

Leong Wai Man, President of the Macao Cultural Affairs Bureau, described the Biennale as a "platform for global cultural dialogue."

Curator Feng Boyi echoed that spirit, turning a greeting into a philosophical prompt.

Inside the Macao Museum of Art, 20 spatial zones unfold like a map of inquiries—from latex and satellites to architecture and self-reflective volunteers.

This Biennale dares not with spectacle, but with honesty:

Who is speaking? And why here?

Macao is not a fixed point, but a shifting medium.

And perhaps, in light, architecture and silence, you might find that same question whispered back to you.
