Temporal Recode: Lu Shao Yi Solo Exhibition | Ink Meets the Digital Maze of Memory

Temporal Recode officially opens at Cloud Gallery in Macau!   ArtBiz Asia Founder Patricia Cheong was invited to attend the opening ceremony as one of the officiating guests.

This solo exhibition by local artist Lu Shao Yi presents a dynamic fusion of ink brushwork, digital motifs, and grid structures — creating a visual experiment that explores the intersections of memory, time, and cultural identity. Like rearranging a cultural database, her ink compositions “re-encode” how we perceive history.

Born in Xiguan, Guangzhou and raised in Macau, Lo excels at layering personal memory with collective culture. This exhibition not only marks a significant shift in her visual language, but also reactivates traditional mediums through contemporary expression.
